My new favorite hobby!

Hey guys! So recently, my Math teacher/small group leader introduced us to try this new hobby so that we can make something special for someone that needs something special. And she told us that we should learn how to crochet! Now, I have learned how to knit in my past life. That lasted about 6 hours on New Year's Eve while I waited for the ball to drop. And it was a little hard. Crocheting though is not that hard! It was at first, but you're only using one needle instead of two and you do the same thing over and over again. So, I took up crocheting and made my own scarf.

Ain't it the prettiest thing? What I actually failed to show was that my scarf is disproportional to the max. But I made an excuse to say it was my first scarf so I don't give a darn. I'm really in love with the stiching though. If you guys want to know what the stiching is called, look up "Double Crochet Knot" and someone will inform you. But yes, this is my new found hobby and might I say, I love it already. I'm actually waiting to go to my grammy's house and get some more yarn to crochet another scarf maybe for Christmas presents, haha! And if you guys don't have anything to do, go out to your nearest craft store and purchase a crochet needle and take it up yourself! Because it's actually a pretty inexpensive hobby. The needle itself was $3 with tax and the yarn is about $5-7.
